Fertility, Pregnancy, and Midlife Care Support

If you are enrolled in an Art Institute medical plan, you have access to Aetna’s Healthy Chapters. This program provides comprehensive reproductive health support for every stage of life—from birth control and fertility to pregnancy, menopause, and healthy aging. It includes personalized care teams, 24/7 nurse support, virtual care access, and expert guidance to help you navigate everything from family planning to midlife health changes.

International Travel Medical Coverage

If you travel internationally on Art Institute business, this coverage helps protect you in the event of an accident or injury, subject to terms and conditions of the policy.

Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides eligible employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year. The Act also requires that group health benefits be maintained during an approved leave. Contact FMLA@artic.edu with questions about FMLA and Paid Medical Leave.
